Starting the PJ-673 Utility 3

To start the PJ-673 Utility, click [Start] -

[All Programs] - [Brother PocketJet] -

[Brother PJ-673 Utility].

How to Use the PJ-673 Utility 3

a In the main window of the PJ-673 Utility,

select the check boxes of the

parameters with settings that can be

changed.

Select the desired settings from the

drop-down menus, or enter the desired

values.

c Click [Send Settings] to save the

settings in the printer.

NOTE

Some parameters can be adjusted using

both the printer driver’s dialog box and

the PJ-673 Utility. For the following

parameters, the setting specified in the

printer driver’s dialog box has priority.

[Paper Size]

[Density] ([Print Density])

[Page Feed Mode]

[Dash Line Print]

Settings that are specified using the

printer driver are used during printing and

are saved until the printer is turned off.

When the printer is turned on again, the

settings specified using the PJ-673 Utility

are used as the default settings.

̈ With the AC adapter, connect the

printer to an AC power outlet.

̈ Make sure that the printer driver has

been installed and is functional.

̈ With the USB cable, connect the

printer to the computer running

Windows

®

, turn on the printer,

and then enter USB mode.

̈ In order to transfer utility settings

to the printer, a computer running

Windows

®

and a USB cable are

required.

̈ The PJ-673 Utility can only be used

via a USB connection. It cannot be

used via a wireless LAN connection.
